Six Weeks to Success: Clear Roles & Responsibilities
This is a non-comprehensive list of some of our favorite on-boarding resources.
We would love for you to share other articles, resources, and tools in the comments!
Start to On-Boarding PowerPoint (PPT): Check out our template for On-Boarding. We add hyperlinks, resources, and fun team pictures (and lots and lots of gifs) to set the tone of our organization.
On-Boarding Agendas: These agendas give you the opportunity to build out daily and weekly schedules and plans for your new hire. We recommend creating weekly schedules for at least the first 4 weeks and daily agendas for at least the first week or two.
Creating SMARTIE Goals (PPT): Not sure how to create SMARTIE goals? Use this PPT to walk through it with your new hires.
SMARTIE Goal Worksheet: Now that you know how to create a SMARTIE goal, use this template with your new hires to set goals for the first 90 days.
90 Day Culture Audit: Feedback is critical. Walkthrough these areas of culture and feedback to ensure inclusion and belonging with your new hire and learn from their experiences.
90 Day Check-In: We meet with our new hires using a very similar template for the first 4 weeks, again at 60 days, and again at 90 days to ensure consistent feedback loops and goal-alignment. In between and ongoing, we use a pared down 2x2 agenda and feedback template.
